Emerson Seniors Corner
By Cheryl Wiechern

The continued, and expected, rollercoaster of weather is ongoing.  I am so thankful for the sunshine and warmer temperatures.  Once the temperature evens out and stays above freezing even overnight, I will begin to work on the raised bed gardens.  I am contemplating putting some rhubarb plants into one of the raised beds.  Where two smaller rhubarb plants are is just not encouraging them to grow.

Monday, April 22, 2024, there were 4 tables.   Men's high: Vern Wilkinson - 803, Men's Low: Art Klan - 759, Women's High: Barbara Mackenzie - 801, Women's Low: Henny Brueggemann - 764.  Join us for Cribbage on Mondays at 1:30 p.m. at the New Horizons Centre.

New Horizons and Emerson Personal Care Home Volunteers are hosting a Spring Tea and Bake Sale on May 25, 2024 at 2:00-4:00 p.m.  at New Horizons Centre.  All baking donations gratefully accepted.  Drop of at New Horizons Friday, May 24, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. or after 10:00 on Saturday.  Everyone welcome.
